BLUEY DAY 'BE BRAVE & SHAVE IS BACK! REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!  The FSJ Hospital Foundation is pleased to bring back Bluey Day, our annual fundraiser. Registration opens March 1, 2022. This will be the 23rd year Bluey Day ‘Be Brave & Shave’ has been hosted by the Foundation.  This year will be a little different as all participants will be invited to shave virtually on May 28, 2022, in the comfort of their own homes, camp-sites, or wherever they desire and with whomever they want to share their experience with. Helping shave participants heads, that are donating their hair to Wigs for Kids BC, will be Coach Barbers. Hair must be a minimum of 10 inches in a ponytail, not chemically treated or colored, however grey hair is okay.  It is amazing to think that more than 844 supporters of every age, young and old, have shaved their heads since Constable Kevin Kult and the Foundation first started back in 1999. Between all of the participants, they have helped to raise a over $2 million for the Foundations Cancer Diagnostic & Care Fund. 100% of the funds stay local to purchase high performance medical equipment for cancer patients that rely on the Fort St John Hospital & Cancer Treatment Center for diagnosis, treatment & care.  The FSJ Hospital Foundation invites individuals, families, friends, and businesses to register individually or as a team to Be Brave and Shave.  When you complete registration, please expect two emails welcoming you and giving you tips on how to have a successful campaign.
