Experience level is beginner and intermediate students will be challenged with advanced weaving techniques. Part of the experience will be learning about: -The plant fibres in use -Their names  -How to collect them, process, store, and prepare them for weaving  -Important aspects of environmentally sustainable collection methods. All materials necessary will be provided for this workshop and students are asked to bring a spray bottle if you have one, and a tea towel for wrapping your work. You are invited to bring any plant fibres or other textiles that you might like to experiment with for their suitability in weaving. You are encouraged to bring your own lunch, snacks and drinking water.  The Balloon Fiesta will also be taking place in Sussex, so we encourage attendees to arrive a bit early incase parking is a challenge.
