Dust off your fancy fits and come celebrate our 30 years of advocacy!
We are so excited to host Ingrid Waldron, Environmental Justice champion, as our featured speaker. We will first open with a musical performance by Josii Yakecan, Brazilian vocal healer, and share a special recorded welcome from WHEN Matron of Honour, Elizabeth May!
Together we will reflect on where we have been and where we are going in the environmental justice movement; honour the women who have led us here and championed for change over the last 30 years; and inspire future generations with actionables delivered by experienced leaders.
- Learn from environment and public health champions
- Join in multigenerational dialogue around Environmental Racism and Bill C-226
- View an exhibit of 30yrs of advocacy for women’s health and the environment and from WHEN’s original founders
To note:
- Semi-formal attire encouraged!
- Hors d'oeuvre and Refreshments provided
- Note there is no alcohol permitted on the premises as this is a sober event
