Following discussions with members from the McGill Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) , a few gaps were identified in our current undergraduate medical curriculum in terms of providing students with the opportunity to explore the fast-paced world of emergency medicine. It was pointed out that McGill does not have any conferences dedicated to emergency medicine.  We aimed to bridge this gap by fostering the exchange of research within the EM community, empowering students to share their findings and insights. Our mission is to cultivate a passion for emergency medicine early on, kindling enthusiasm among undergraduate medical students for this captivating field._________ MEMC's aim is to provide medical students with a unique opportunity to discover the dynamic field of emergency medicine through networking, research discussions, and interactive workshops. Throughout the day, students will have the invaluable opportunity to engage with distinguished speakers and abstract competition winners during enlightening talks. These sessions will be followed by hands-on workshops facilitated by experienced staff physicians and EM residents, providing a well-rounded educational experience that caters to diverse learning styles and interests
