A few words from Sarah Markwick...
Come for an evening of readings, music, and socializing. It will be chill, there will be some refreshments, and I’ll have some books there too! A bit about the music...
Julia Chien and Katherine Evans will perform an original piece that Jules has composed for the launches. 

Jules is a talent on the ice and on percussion (but not at the same time...yet). She is Principal Percussionist of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra and performs regularly with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. She’s also in a percussion duo called Infamy Too! and is a member of the Veda Hille Sisterhood - a 6-piece ensemble playing two shows at the Cultch in September.

Katherine is the principal trumpet of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra and the Newport Symphony. Both Katherine and Jules play together at the opera, and Katherine is also a member of Turning Point Ensemble, the brass trio, One, Two, Trio, and the 12-voice vocal ensemble, musica intima.
