Our guest speaker will discuss what is palliative care, when to make the shift to palliative care, explain palliative care and what can be offered as well as the stages of death. We will also talk about MAID/Palliative sedation as well as goals of care - life expectancy. This session is at the Beth Donovan Hospice and will start at 5:30pm.

Our guest speakers are Dr. Sammy Winemaker and Dr. Hsien Seow, Canadian authors who wrote the book Hope For the Best, Plan for the Rest. They will speak about the inevitable disappointment and unmet expectations. The first 75 guest to attend this event will get a copy of their book. This session is at Parish Hall on Kemptville Campus. The doors open at 4:15pm for refreshments and hors d'ouevres. Presentation will start at 4:45pm.
