COMPETITION DATES: JANUARY 12 - JANUARY 14, 2024

BRIDGE is an interdisciplinary case competition with the purpose of breaking down the boundaries between the fields of engineering and business. The competition was founded in 2019 by ambitious students from DSN and SEAM; recognizing that most of today’s sustainability challenges require novel solutions that straddle multidisciplinary boundaries. The two groups decided to collaborate to allow students to work with students from other faculties and learn about sustainability in a hands-on manner. The annual event encourages students to cultivate their creative and analytical skills by applying knowledge gained from one discipline to another. In teams of four to five, students will tackle society’s most pressing challenges by cracking a sustainability case related to engineering and business. Participants will be evaluated based on the originality and feasibility of their proposed solutions. We strongly encourage students across all majors and faculties to participate in the competition.
