For thirty years, St. Thomas-Elgin Second Stage Housing has offered the women of St. Thomas and Elgin County a safe place to re-establish their lives. The transitional residence offers women — with or without children, whose lives have been affected by abuse— a secure and comfortable place to stay as well as a supportive services. The services such as one on one support, group support and advocacy that women receive while residing at Second Stage Housing are instrumental to their success in changing their lives to be free of abuse.
