We are delighted to announce that JASNA Calgary will host a Midsummer Country Assembly. ~Step back into the Regency Era of Jane Austen and dance the night away~ Enjoy the romance of the courtly dances of Pride &amp; Prejudice (or Bridgerton), with live music and light refreshment. You need neither a partner, nor dance experience. All ages and abilities are welcome. Dances will be taught on the night. The last dance will be called at 10:30pm Costumes are admired, but not required.

There will be short lessons at the ball itself. Those who are truly inspired can join the Sprigged Muslin dance group, part of JASNA (Jane Austen Society of North America) Calgary. The Regency (or Bridgerton) Look for ladies is empire waistlines, soft fabrics and long skirts. Gentlemen can achieve much with a cravat and a waistcoat.
