Participants will have the opportunity to explore how their relationship to support in the present moment and how this impacts their relationship with movement and environment.With the use of somatic movement experientials/ inquiries, an invitation is offered to tune in to our sensory intelligence and the truth of our present awareness.&nbsp;Participants will be offered a basic understanding of Somatics (the first-person experience of sensate information) and its effects on nervous system regulation (what influences our internal and external relationship with our environment). This will be used as a foundation for guided explorations that seek to support deepening connection with the self, and our environments. In honouring the diverse capacities present there is opportunity to engage curiosity, increase spontaneity and creativity as well as widen movement pallets.&nbsp;ABOUT THE ARTISTCamille Djokoto, RP is a performer, choreographer and facilitator integrating somatic explorations that support embodied journeys of healing and transformation. Camille provides healing centered, trauma-informed and socially conscious support to diverse populations. Her practice is informed by 30+ yrs. of dance and movement experience with her formative training in MENAHT/SWANA dance styles. As the Co-Founder of Dance Company Ya Amar Toronto, she has facilitated workshops that bring cultural knowledge from global artists to the Toronto community.
