In a fervour of urgency, he seeks the council of Dr. Sarah Roberts, a researcher on the mechanisms of aging. As John becomes deprived of his youth and strength, Miriam sets her sights on Sarah as her new companion. A carnally charged, gothic elegance collides with sumptuous excess against the backdrop of 1980s New York City and serves up a hypnotizing psycho sexual thriller.
