As the stars above twinkle like Odin's knowing eye, we extend a hearty invitation for you to join us in merriment, feasting, the forging of bonds that withstand the test of time, and of course, the crossing of swords.</div><div style="margin:0.5em 0px 0px;overflow-wrap:break-word;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">On the eve of Yule, beneath the watchful gaze of the Allfather, we shall kindle the great bonfires and illuminate the long Nordic night with the warmth of camaraderie. A grand feast awaits, laden with succulent meats roasted to perfection, spiced mead flowing like the rivers of Midgard, and hearth-baked bread that sustains both body and spirit.</div><div style="margin:0.5em 0px 0px;overflow-wrap:break-word;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">Bring your courage, your curiosity, and an open heart, for this Yuletide Feast promises more than a mere celebration. Done in full armor and contact. A tournament of popularity voted on by spectators so be ready to cheer.</div><div style="margin:0.5em 0px 0px;overflow-wrap:break-word;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">Historical Games and Competitions of Skill:<br />games and competitions will take place throughout the day, including an evolution of Norse stick wrestling, Toutrekk, a variation of tug of war, Kubb, a traditional Scandinavian lawn game, and more.</div><div style="margin:0.5em 0px 0px;overflow-wrap:break-word;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">Youth:<br />Youth games, classes, and more will be available throughout the day. This includes a children's axe throwing game and a youth division combat class teaching about historical combat, safety, and more. This may include a youth combat tournament pending participation. Youth combat is conducted using foam weapons and protective gear, as well as being broken into divisions of ages 9-11, 12-14, 15-17.<br />(All youth activities will have a dedicated and background checked youth marshall to ensure safety)</div><div style="margin:0.5em 0px 0px;overflow-wrap:break-word;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">Feast and More:<br />Dinner will be provided by Viadrina for an additional buy-in of $20 per plate. The feast provided will be a modern variation of the historical Yule Tide feast. (Menu details TBD). Any dietary restrictions must be made known to the event steward at least 14 days prior to the event for attempts at consideration but Viadrina makes no guarantees.<br />Drinks, Alcohol, and Snacks will be available at concession. As it is a full day event please remember to pack a lunch and other necessities prior to attending.</div><div style="margin:0.5em 0px 0px;overflow-wrap:break-word;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">Gate:<br />Admission will be taken at the front doors to the event. We do not take card or cheques.
