Hess Village is entering a new era, a fusion of the old and the new. An inspired blend of Victorian architecture and 21ˢᵗ century design and creativity, with a mix of the relaxing atmosphere found in Europe intertwined with the hip, vibrancy of city life found in Toronto or New York City. The local businesses within Hess Village have come together to form a new vision for the streets of Hess and George; to become a vibrant, progressive destination that the locals and surrounding communities want to visit for dining, entertainment, and shopping.  

To jumpstart this vision, the group will host the inaugural “Hess Village Winter Market in support of the Charity of Hope” from November 22ⁿᵈ to December 1ˢᵗ and carry through the winter months. There are many successful holiday markets around the world including the famous Christmas Market in Toronto’s Distillery District and we believe a similar initiative will achieve the same success right here in Hess Village.

The businesses, together with the supporting sponsor,  and the community hope to raise $20,000 for the Charity of Hope to be used directly to support children and youth in the Hamilton community.
