All the info you need for the party is here (location at the bottom):<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">from 11-11:30pm, there will be an opening breathing meditation facilitated by Kiju, followed by a ~5 minute debrief. in order to not disrupt the process, everyone who arrives during the meditation (between 11-11:30pm) will be held in the entry room until the end of the meditation. so, please come before 11pm if you want to participate in the breaking meditation. <ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">what to expect for the meditation: You will be lying on your back and pillows will be provided for your head. The practice is a way of inducing an altered state of consciousness completely through the breath, and meant to be experienced in a group setting. It was originally offered to my friend Sam as a final part of a university seminar on the Buddhist concept of interdependence... the state of profound connectedness. **disclaimer: It honestly does induce some intense body sensations (mostly muscular contractions) and asks you to be vulnerable at times (eg, you will be asked to scream out loud). you can exit the feeling at any time by just breathing normally.
