Some donors provide Christmas baking, essentials, etc. You can be as creative or as simple as your team would like. The families are aware that the items on their list may not be covered. If you gift clothing items, please provide the gift receipt for size exchange. Can we ask more questions about the family or their needs to help me customize shopping?Yes, feel free to call or message us if you have any questions. These are families we know well. If we do not have the answer right away, we can contact the parent/guardian for more information.  Do we have to wrap the gifts?It is preferred that donors wrap the gifts. However, we do have volunteers that can wrap gifts as well closer to the gift delivery date. Please check off items from the wish list to help the Big Brothers Big Sisters team stay organized. How do we label the gifts?Please put labels on the gifts with the child/guardian’s initials. This helps the family as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters keep the gifts organized.  Are we able to meet the family we are matched with?Out of respect of our families we keep their identity confidential unless special circumstances arise.  Are we able to donate baking?Yes, this is a kind and warm gesture. Gift drop-off information:Will be Monday through Friday December 3-12th. There will be scheduled times with our team at the designated drop off location, Dancers Edge Studio - 5404 56 Ave, Lacombe. We will be sending out a schedule with the times our team will be at the location. If you are unable to make a scheduled drop off, please contact us and we can arrange a time that works. Please contact: Jen - 403-896-1009 Many of our families are disqualified from other local Christmas programs if they are being adopted by our agency. We have added food and grocery gift cards accordingly as many of our families struggle with food security.
