The Greek International Film Festival Tour of Canada (GIFFT) returns for its third annual event, poised to captivate audiences in Vancouver, British Columbia. Building on past successes, GIFFT promises to deliver another compelling showcase of Greek cinema to an enthusiastic and growing audience at the Dunbar Theatre.  As Vancouver prepares to host this cultural event, anticipation mounts for the exceptional artistry of Greek directors, writers, producers, and actors. GIFFT serves as a vibrant platform for the local Greek community and broader local audience alike to come together in celebration of cinematic storytelling.   With each passing year, GIFFT continues to draw larger and more engaged crowds, affirming its status as a highlight of the Vancouver’s cultural calendar.  Building on our past achievements, this year's GIFFT aims to elevate the event to new heights with the possibility of inviting a prominent Greek director, writer, producer, or actor. With additional funding, we aspire to provide attendees with a unique opportunity to directly interact, ask questions, and gain insights from a distinguished figure in Greek cinema. This initiative adds another layer of experience, enriching the festival and offering our audience a deeper connection to the artistry and creativity of Greek filmmakers.  Through GIFFT, the spirit of Hellenism finds expression on Canadian soil, transcending borders and fostering a deeper appreciation for Greek culture. As the festival unfolds in Vancouver and beyond, it promises not only entertainment but also a shared journey of discovery and connection through the power of film.
