AMAAS' biennial Media Arts Tours continues, with a stop in Lethbridge on Saturday, June 27! Take a curated tour of Lethbridge's media arts community, while networking with media artists and professionals across Alberta! This tour includes: - A curated screening program by Lethbridge International Film Festival (LIFF) and BIPOC Foundation (for those travelling on the bus only)- A panel of Lethbridge media artists including award-winning media artist David Hoffos, Kels Valenzuela Delamarter, host of Queer in Alberta podcast, and STRUDELBRAND! Arts Collective- A tour of Casa, the beautiful arts hub downtown, managed by the Allied Art Council of Lethbridge - Learn more about the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG)'s new capital project and upcoming programming, then take a tour of downtown through their first Asterisms exhibition Say the Word by May Kineytums and Micah Lexier- Tour of Lethbridge Polytechnic's media art facilities- Game demos by Lethbridge Game Developer's Guild- Catered lunch and dinner FROM THE CALGARY AREA? Don't stress about driving or booking your own transportation! We have a private coach that will be shuttling members into Lethbridge departing at 9:00AM from the Ramada Plaza downtown in Calgary, and returning at 10:00PM. You'll also get an extra bit of media arts programming during your tour, as a curated screening program by the Lethbridge International Film Festival (LIFF) will be playing during your trip!
