Please join us for the next Canadian Club of Victoria meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, featuring Kevin Scott from the Victoria Hospitals Foundation speaking about How Philanthropy is fueling innovation in our hospitals.For the past four years, Kevin Scott has served as a Philanthropy Associate with the Victoria Hospitals Foundation, serving Vancouver Island&rsquo;s acute care hospitals. In this role, Kevin has had the opportunity to see the direct impact of donor-funded innovation, like surgical robotics, on patient care, care teams and our hospitals. Kevin works with individuals and organizations in the community passionate about elevating healthcare. He and his family have called Victoria home since 2010.The Victoria Hospitals Foundation works with care teams and the community to advance and elevate care at Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals. This includes the recently launched It&rsquo;s Time for Surgical Transformation&nbsp;campaign, a $43 million investment advancing surgical capacity and capability benefitting stroke, cancer, cardiac and vascular care.Guests will learn about the impact advanced equipment is having in our hospitals across different areas of care and the role community support and philanthropy continues to play in ensuring Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals provide the care patients need locally and across Vancouver Island. PLEASE NOTE: CHANGE OF LOCATION AND START TIMEDate: Tuesday, November 10, 2026 Time: 9:30 AM &ndash; 11:00 AM Location: Berwick Royal Oak 4680 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, BC Canadian Club of Victoria &ndash; Special Meeting at Berwick Royal Oak Berwick Royal Oak has graciously offered to host The Canadian Club of Victoria at no cost to our association. The event will be held in their auditorium, with seating limited to 50 members and guests. Berwick Royal Oak will also provide a continental breakfast. As Berwick Royal Oak is generously providing the venue and breakfast at no charge to our Club, we have decided to charge an attendance fee of $25 per person. All proceeds will go toward supporting the ongoing activities of The Canadian Club of Victoria. Parking InformationPlease note that there is no on-site parking available at Berwick Royal Oak. Attendees are asked to park at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4635 Elk Lake Drive, located directly across from the entrance to Saanich Commonwealth Pool.For your convenience, you may drop off passengers at Berwick Royal Oak before proceeding to the church parking lot.
