One powerful cause.</h2>We&rsquo;re thrilled to offer two donated pieces by acclaimed artist Jes&uacute;s A. Rivera Zavala in support of the YMCA&rsquo;s Second Stage Housing Program for Youth. These stunning works are being auctioned as part of Light the Night: Ride for Youth, a glowing community ride on July 26 that raises critical funds to support young people facing homelessness. Rivera Zavala&rsquo;s work is known for its emotional depth, rich colour, and cultural resonance &mdash; and now, it&rsquo;s helping shine a light on youth in need. 🚲 You may already know his work &mdash; he&rsquo;s also the creative mind behind the dazzling bike design that Ride Marshal Morgan Bello&nbsp;will be riding,&nbsp;<a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.facebook.com/100064858385533/videos/pcb.1210355844469684/1181441377069412" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">recently featured on CTV</a>! My work explores the invisible side of being human&mdash;the anxiety, ambition, apathy, and all those quiet feelings we carry but rarely say out loud. I use illustration, motion, and photography to give shape to those inner landscapes, often blending real memories with imagined spaces. &nbsp;My journey has taken me from Caracas to Madrid, Paris, and now Canada, and that mix lives in everything I create. I&rsquo;ve shown work in Tokyo, London, Caracas, Ciudad guayana, Ottawa, and New York (2025), received the City of Ottawa Seed Grant, and the Articipate Grant, and recently collaborated with the luxury fashion brand Hive &amp; Colony on their Spring 2025 collection. I also create visual campaigns for the SecDev Foundation, in programs dedicated to keep women and youth of conflict zones safe online, working in projects of more than eight countries, and multiple cultures in the MENA Region, Central Asia, South East Asia.
