ccdMalvina invites artists and cultural workers from the region to take part in a free workshop dedicated to artificial intelligence tools applied to artistic creation.

Led by Guillaume Lévesque from Sporobole, this workshop offers a concrete, welcoming, and stimulating introduction to the possibilities opened up by AI in a research-creation context. Through examples, demonstrations, and avenues for experimentation, participants will be invited to better understand how these tools can support different stages of an artistic process: ideation, image or text generation, sound or visual exploration, documentation, prototyping, critical reflection, and more.

The goal is not to replace the artistic gesture, but rather to open a space of discovery around these technologies: how can they be used in a sensitive, relevant, and responsible way? What questions do they raise for artists? How can they become partners in exploration, while respecting the uniqueness of each artistic approach?

This workshop is part of ccdMalvina’s 2026 programming, which brings contemporary creation, territory, heritage, environment, and immersive technologies into dialogue. It offers a valuable opportunity to become familiar with current tools in a warm, accessible setting rooted in the concerns of today’s artistic communities.

No prior technical expertise is required. The workshop is intended both for those who wish to take their first steps with AI and for those who have already begun exploring it and would like to deepen their reflection.
