Join us for Autumn High Tea: Tea, Tales &amp; Traditions, an afternoon filled with beautiful food, pots of tea, music, stories, games and a few surprises along the way.Executive Chef Hans is creating a special autumn-inspired High Tea menu to enjoy with a selection of teas, all set against the colours and charm of the Village in fall. Then we are going to have a little fun with tradition. Curator Morgan Ryder presents Dressing Miss Halpenny, taking us beneath the layers of early 1900s fashion. Watch as Miss Halpenny is dressed from the undergarments up while Morgan shares the stories, fashion tips and surprising details behind what it really took to get dressed for the day. Throughout the afternoon, there will be more tales and traditions to discover, music by Lawren Clark, games around the tables and plenty of opportunities to test just how much you really know about the customs of another time.
