Pourquoi avons-nous besoin de la recherche? Comment peuvent les communautés bénéficier de données sur la danse et le mieux-être? Et comment peuvent les projets de recherche être structurés pour redonner à ces communautés? 
Pour ce panel, nous avons invité trois chercheuses canadiennes, Rachel Bar (Recherche et Santé, École nationale du ballet, Toronto), Sylvie Fortin (UQAM, Montréal) et Melissa Park (Université McGill, Montréal), qui, à travers des approches et expériences différentes, ont travaillé pour atteindre une meilleure compréhension du rôle essentiel des pratiques artistiques et des thérapies par les arts pour le mieux-être physique, émotionnel et cognitif; en plus, elles ont toujours intégré ces projets au tissu social des communautés dans lesquelles elles travaillent, pour une vision long-terme du mieux-être. 
Ce panel est offert par le Centre national de danse-thérapie, avec le soutien de la Fondation RBC. Il s’adresse aux professionnels de la danse qui souhaitent baser leur pratique sur des données probantes et aux chercheurs travaillant dans le milieu de la danse et du mieux-être. &nbsp;

It is dedicated to dance professionals and facilitators who want to base their practice on current data and to researchers who focus on the relationship between dance, well-being and community building. &nbsp;
