Jenn &amp; Melvin are parents of 3 children who visit our West-end drop-in site, they are loving parents who try their best at keeping their children active and busy during the summer months by signing up for all of our summer programming. Tristan, is their 7-year-old who can often be found alongside staff and volunteers lending a helping hand and excited to be enjoying the activities. Tyson is their 3-year-old who we have seen throughout his milestones now walking and talking following his brother&rsquo;s excitement and learning from him. Jen and Melvin recently welcomed their third and newest child a baby girl!&nbsp; Jen &amp; Melvin do not own a vehicle to make trips to the parks and beaches on their own, it is thanks to donors like you who allow them the opportunity to pack up the children for a picnic at the park or sun-filled day at the beach, enjoying lunch and a chance to put baby&rsquo;s feet in the sand and waters for the first time!&nbsp; Jenn &amp; Melvin are quick to mark their calendars and plan ahead for trips like these to ensure their little ones have the opportunity to be a part of a community that will nurture the love of learning and enjoyment for family outings. Jenn &amp; Melvin now have the opportunity to see their children play outdoors away from the challenges and impacts that living in the inner-city neighborhoods can have on the development of their children. &nbsp;It is because of you that little Tristan has an opportunity to teach his siblings all the things he&rsquo;s learnt on trips to the park or beach!&nbsp; Consistent services for our community make it possible for Jenn, Melvin, their children and others to experience belonging, growth, and fun by accessing the continuous programs we provide at our sites.
