Under the honorary co-chairmanship of Mrs Stéphanie Roy and Mr. Louis Lemay, the Symposium offers the experience of an acquisition committee. During a gourmet dinner, discover two works specially exhibited for the occasion and engage in discussions with guests as well as curators before voting for the work that will be acquired for the MAC collection. Animated by lively conversations, this event provides an opportunity to discover or rediscover contemporary art and the museum collection process. This unique evening will take place starting at 6:00 PM at Blouin Division Gallery. Tickets are priced at $1,250 (a tax receipt will be provided for the eligible portion). The funds raised during the evening will contribute to the acquisition of the chosen artwork. The Fondation du MAC expresses its heartfelt gratitude for your active participation in enriching the collection of the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.

Au cours d’un repas gastronomique, découvrez deux œuvres spécialement exposées pour l’occasion et échangez avec les invités ainsi qu’avec les conservateurs avant de voter pour l’œuvre qui sera acquise pour la collection du MAC. Animé de belles discussions, cet événement offre l'opportunité de découvrir ou redécouvrir l'art contemporain et le processus de collectionnement muséal. Cette soirée unique aura lieu dès 18 h à la Galerie Blouin Division. Le billet se détaille à 1 250 $ (un reçu fiscal vous sera remis pour la portion admissible). Les fonds amassés lors de la soirée contribueront à l'acquisition de l'œuvre choisie.
