Please join us at CJP on Thursday, May 2 for an informal pizza dinner and social from 6:00 - 6:30pm followed by Hanna’s presentation at 6:30pm. Hanna will speak to CJP parents on the topic of supporting literacy at home. Here’s what you can expect from Hanna:“I own a tutoring and consulting company where I help develop key language and literacy skills with young children. Through my years of experience I’ve developed engaging activities that both parents and educators alike can implement to nurture key foundational skills. I’m passionate about creating and sharing innovative activities, reviewing and promoting the best children’s picture books, and teaching you how to use my favourite genre - wordless picture books. My goal is simple - that with my resources you are able to instill a passion in young minds so that they, too, can develop a deep love for reading and learning that will last a lifetime.” Hanna StroudLiteracy Tutor & Consultant, My Literacy Space The event is free to all CJP parents and guardians; registration is required. As a bonus, the first 30 people to register will receive a literacy resource bundle created by Hanna (limit of one per family).
