The Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre (HCFBDC) is hosting the First Annual HCFBDC Golf Tournament on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the White Squirrel Golf Club.HCFBDC is a registered Canadian charity (#810603951RR0001) established in 2008. &nbsp;Our purpose is to source and supply food and related products for distribution to the food banks and aid agencies in Huron County as well as food-aid agencies in Stratford, St. Marys and Mitchell. &nbsp;It is our desire that no one goes hungry. &nbsp;Our intent is to provide food security to everyone who has a need and work towards making hunger non-existent in our communities.Currently, we have incurred a large expense to repair one of the delivery trucks so that it can be kept on the road to safely and securely deliver nutritious foods to our food-aid agency clients. &nbsp;Proceeds from the golf tournament will help to cover this unexpected repair cost.Golf registration is $150.00 per person including a $50.00 tax receipt. &nbsp;Golfers will have a shot-gun tee-off for 18 holes with cart (including snacks) starting at 1:00 pm and dinner to follow at 6:00 pm. &nbsp;Please arrive by 12:30pm for cart and hole assignments for the 1:00 pm shot-gun start.There will be a limited number of &quot;dinner only&quot; guest tickets available at $40.00 each.
