This initiative provides a structured space for practitioners to engage in collegial dialogue grounded in established ABA frameworks, current research, and ethical practice standards. Across Ontario, there is a growing recognition of a disconnect in our field: the gap between the technical ABA competencies practitioners bring to the table and the essential soft skills employers are actively seeking. While this &quot;skills gap&quot; is not exclusive to behaviour analysis, bridging it is vital to elevating the overall quality of ABA services across our province. Technical precision gets us through the door, but foundational professional behaviours, such as work ethic, effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration, are what truly drive meaningful outcomes.
