Led by Hospice Education and Curriculum Development Coordinator, Amy Pritzker, MSW RSW (she/her), this virtual, two-part (1.5-day) training gives professionals and volunteers in Hospice Palliative Care and Social Services the practical skills to navigate grief with confidence. You&#39;ll debunk common myths, learn how to truly support a grieving person, and explore what to do when grief gets complicated, all through interactive exercises, videos, and real stories (including your own). Because no matter your role, grief walks through the door. A note on self-care: This training involves honest reflection on death, dying, and loss. Participants are encouraged to come with a self-care plan and the space to take care of themselves throughout. The dates/times of the training are Thursday, October 22nd, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, AND&nbsp;Friday, October 23rd, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. &nbsp;The link for the session will be provided to registrants via email prior to the event.
