LXCL:A financial contribution in lieu of bringing items to donate to the cheese and charcuterie board. Our late night snack team will compile the donations and buy snacks accordingly. We will still be accepting cheese and charcuterie donations at the festival if you prefer.

LXCL:Since we have a limited number of spots for tents, we ask you to 'purchase' a $0 tent space if you are choosing to camp (instead of staying in shared cabin with bunk bed). Please only select one ticket per tent (ex. if you are 2 sharing a tent only buy 1 tent ticket)

We invite you to spend a festive weekend with us in our exciting new location at Fraser Lake — a gorgeous 273-acre lakefront property in Canadian Shield near Bancroft. The weekend will be filled with Balfolk music, dancing, workshops, jamming and bals late into the night.  We have some amazing programming for you this year featuring teachers and musicians from France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Canada. Location: Fraser Lake Camp is near the town of Bancroft. It is 3h10min from Toronto, 4h20min from Montreal, 2h20min from Ottawa.Accommodations:  Participants can choose between a bunk bed in a shared cabin (you’ll stay dry!) or a limited number of camping spaces. Both options are included and you’ll have access to the same shared amenities (washrooms, showers). There is also a lake for swimming (no lifeguards).Meals: Meals are included from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch (6 meals total). As is tradition, we will have a Saturday night charcuterie board.Ticket Prices: Complimentary tickets for staff.Your ticket includes:- some surprise snacks, coffee and tea- a bunkbed space in a shared cabin, or a field-space for your tent (your choice, however if you choose to camp please purchase a free tent space)- access to showers- access to all workshops, jams and bals from Friday 6 pm – Sunday afternoon- 6 meals (Friday dinner to Sunday lunch)- a Big Branch 2025 t shirt Your ticket does not include:- access to the kick- off concert in Toronto on Sep 3 (order separately)  We’ve tried to keep our budget as low as possible to keep things affordable. This is a labour of love for many of the organizers, performers, workshop leaders, and administration team who are working year-round on the festival. We do our best to compensate our talent as well as possible, but note that all parties are volunteering many hours to make this event as affordable as possible. We are deeply grateful for all of our volunteers and community members who make the magic happen!!  We can’t wait to dance with you!
