The Jacob Do octet is an Alberta-based jazz ensemble that has garnered a well-earned reputation for presenting complex arrangements with emotional depth and skillful improvisation. &nbsp;They draw inspiration from chamber jazz and contemporary big band traditions. &nbsp;The octet sold out a debut performance at Edmonton&rsquo;s Yardbird Suite in March 2024 and released their debut EP, &ldquo;Maybe&rdquo;, in May 2025. &nbsp;The future of jazz is in good hands!&nbsp;
