Corey Hirsch is a former NHL goaltender who spent the majority of his career playing with the Vancouver Canucks. He was also one of the Goalies on the New York Rangers roster when they won the Stanley Cup in 1994 and is an Olympic Silver Medalist.

For much of his NHL career, Corey was plagued with panic attacks and obsessive thoughts, a secret he kept to himself. He finally confided in a team trainer after years of suffering in silence and was able to get the help he needed after being diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. In 2017, Corey publicly shared his gripping mental health struggle with an emotional article in The Players Tribune. It was a riveting article on his life as a suicide survivor and an individual living with OCD. The article received an overwhelming response sending ripples through the sports world.
