To everyone whose life has been touched by Cooper&#39;s spirit, please join us on May 10 to celebrate him. To honour the joy, the laughter, the language, and the light that is Cooper, we invite you into the main pen with Cooper, as a space for people to say goodbye and grieve in their own way; there&#39;s nothing formal planned and no scheduled activities - just time to be together and to reflect on what he means to us. We&#39;re so grateful to anyone who wants to bring something for him, but due to the excitement and naughty behaviours that ensue when food is present, no treats will be permitted to be given to Cooper or any of the animals during this time. We will collect any oats and bananas when you arrive, and disperse them at a later date. &nbsp;Attendance is free - please register so we know how many people to expect, and to receive directions to FARRM. He has been, from day one, one of our most hilarious, headstrong, loveable problem children - and we wouldn&rsquo;t have him any other way. &nbsp;But recently, our king of the barnyard began to fade. The once unstoppable force of nature began to withdraw from his daily antics. Something wasn&rsquo;t right. A subtle weight loss, an unusual stillness, a slowing spirit. We acted quickly - medication, monitoring, tests - hoping it was just another bump in a road Cooper had defied time and time again. &nbsp;Then came the morning of the vet visit. His abdomen, suddenly and alarmingly distended, revealed the gravity of the situation. An ultrasound confirmed our deepest fear: a massive growth anchored to his liver, stretching the length of his abdomen, pressing on his organs, crushing his intestines, and slowly stealing our Cooper from us. &nbsp;We don&rsquo;t yet have an official diagnosis, but all signs point to cancer. And even if the mass is benign, its size, location, and Cooper&rsquo;s fragile medical history leave no option for surgery. Cooper&rsquo;s lungs are compromised. His heart has stopped before under sedation. The risk is not just high - it&rsquo;s certain that he would not survive the attempt. &nbsp;Bloodwork has shown us what we dreaded to see - his liver is struggling. And now, we face the unbearable truth: our time with him is limited. Days, maybe weeks. We have walked this road before, but never with someone who has fought as hard or lived as boldly as Cooper. &nbsp;For nearly a decade, this brave little goat has defied the odds, rewriting his story again and again with every heartbeat.
