Date &amp; Time: Thursday, March 19th, 2026. 12:00 pm - 3:00 pmDuration: 3 hours Location: Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre  26770 29 Ave, Aldergrove, BC V4W 3B8 Classes and Workshops: Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy Cancellation Langley Arts Council may cancel a class, lesson, or workshop (single or series) for the following reasons: <ul><li>Low or declining enrolment (below minimum enrolment). </li><li>Teacher illness or scheduling conflict. </li><li>Facility closures due to unforeseen events (e.g. fire, flood, power outage, pandemic, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our control). </li></ul>Advance Notice of Cancellations (Paid Programs) By Langley Arts Council (LAC): <ul><li>Programs that do not meet minimum enrolment will be cancelled one and a half (1.5) weeks before the start date. </li><li>Students will receive a full refund in these cases. </li><li>For programs requiring students to purchase supplies, confirmation emails will be sent prior to the program start date to help avoid unnecessary expenses in case of cancellations or program changes.  </li></ul>Student Cancellation: <ul><li>Cancellations must be requested no later than one and a half (1.5) weeks before the program start date. </li><li>Requests submitted after this deadline will not be accepted, and no refunds will be issued. </li></ul>Refund Eligibility:<ul><li>Full Refund – Available if a cancellation request is received on or before the one-and-a-half-week deadline </li><li>No Refund – Cancellations made after the deadline are not eligible for a refund. </li></ul>Student Illness:<ul><li>We understand that illness can happen. However, as a non-profit organization, we are unable to provide refunds or make-up sessions for missed in-person classes due to student illness. Program fees go directly toward instructor pay, supplies, and operating costs, which allows us to keep classes affordable for all. </li><li> </li></ul>By-Donation Programs: Withdrawals and Cancellations <ul><li>Student Withdrawal: Participants may withdraw at any time. Refunds do not apply to by-donation programs. </li></ul> <ul><li>Cancellations by LAC: Langley Arts Council may cancel a by-donation class or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, weather, or facility issues). Participants will be notified as soon as possible. </li></ul>
