Your presence supports a vibrant space where local initiatives, the environment, and cultural life come together. Poverty, hunger, and financial insecurity for our families are unfortunately still relevant issues. This is what motivates us to continue the work of the Foundation and provide valuable assistance to our fellow citizens in need. For those interested, we invite you to a dinner cocktail on September 12, which will be an opportunity for us to come together to highlight the impact of our actions and stay focused on providing help. Since the very beginning, we have supported the Grand Bois COOP, which since early 2024 has set up a mobile kitchen (a &quot;Popote Roulante&quot;) for individuals over 65 years old, who are losing autonomy or are in precarious situations, in St-Etienne and the surrounding region. Developed in collaboration with local partners and with the active involvement of committed volunteers, this project helps improve the health conditions of the served population, break isolation, stimulate intergenerational solidarity, and strengthen the collective capacities of the community. It is also mentioned in the annual report of the public health department of CIUSS de l&rsquo;Estrie as an innovative and inspiring project arising from a community. Currently, the Popote Roulante is at maximum capacity, serving 83 beneficiaries and more than 180 meals per week. With the aging population of the region, demand continues to increase. In light of this reality and based on our successes so far, other initiatives are being launched to consolidate and increase the assistance provided. This year, all funds raised will be dedicated to the Grand Bois COOP to support the needs required to expand the community kitchen related to the growing demands of the mobile kitchen.
