Since then, we&#39;ve already marched in the Pride Parade and St Patrick&#39;s Parade, and will soon be marching in the Santa Claus Parade, checking off the 3 largest parades in Toronto. They&#39;ve created a safe and inclusive space for queer musicians, where we can spread queer cheer to the community across Toronto and southern Ontario. There are a lot of startup costs for creating a band, such as purchasing instruments and renting rehearsal space, resulting in high annual dues for our members. Now that we have several months of experience, and a proven interest in our group, we are looking to reduce fees for our members. This is especially important to us, as we recognize that membership fees can be a barrier to participation, particularly for our target group, which historically faces higher rates of economic hardship.
