Join us for an evening of musical magic featuring singer-songwriters Islay Smedley &amp; Sara Rose H&eacute;bert in heartfelt collaboration.&nbsp; Artist-in-Residence, Islay Smedley, was an emerging artist with the Canadian Musicians Cooperative in 2023 and 2024, where she performed in their annual showcase. Blending elements of pop, folk, and country, her sound carries a dreamy, emotional quality while telling a grounded story of reclaiming voice and power. Timmins, Ontario born-and-raised, Sara Rose H&eacute;bert (they/them) has released three albums in English since 2010. Their unique songwriting offers a blend of indie and anti-folk sounds laden with soulful vocals and hypnotic guitar parts. With intricate melodies and heartfelt lyrics, fans describe Sara Rose&#39;s performance as a &quot;hug in music form.&quot;
