Il a obtenu un doctorat du Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris (CNAM) en 2006, puis il est devenu chercheur postdoctoral à l’Université McGill (2007-2011). Enfin, il s’est joint à la Société des arts technologiques en tant que chercheur/développeur en 2012 et y a été codirecteur de la recherche de 2017 à 2023.
