This event brings together the FCO team and long-term care sector professionals for a day of connection, learning, and shared purpose. Together, we will explore practical ways to strengthen the sector while fostering a deeper sense of belonging for residents, families, and care partners&mdash;through meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and a dedicated town hall designed to spark insight and forward-thinking conversations. What to Expect:&nbsp; Featured Session:&nbsp;The Relational Approach: A New Way to Care Together Presented by Deborah Bakti, speaker, educator, and relational approach strategist with over two decades of experience in seniors&rsquo; care. Drawing from The Relational Approach&trade; and her upcoming book, Deborah blends insight, storytelling, and practical tools to help participants better understand what gets in the way of trust&mdash;and what helps build it. Through guided reflection and an interactive breakout session, participants will explore the narratives both sides carry and discover how curiosity can shift even the most challenging dynamics. Participants will also gain practical strategies for building and sustaining effective family councils, informed by recent survey results and collaboration across the sector from members of the FCO team.
