In this interactive workshop, we&#39;ll explore the surprising culinary potential of garlic mustard, one of Ontario&#39;s most widespread invasive plants. Together we will explore its impact on local ecosystems and learn how this abundant plant can be transformed into a delicious pesto. You will have the opportunity to taste, learn, and connect while exploring the intersection of food, ecology, and community stewardship. We will have tasty snacks available to accompany the delicious pesto we make together! After the cooking portion, there will be a chance to connect and feast together while we enjoy The Carrot&#39;s beautiful Green Roof space. Location: The Carrot Green Roof: 348 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4K 1N8 Time: 6:00-8:00pm We encourage all to register given that spots are limited.&nbsp; **This workshop is part of a two-part series: the first event will be a garlic mustard removal and native species planting workshop where we will harvest the garlic mustard that we use in this workshop!
