If a session is canceled due to low registration, you will be notified via email 24 hours prior to your run or walk.  Wondering about what you should wear during your (SEASON) walks and runs? Here are a few tips we have learned along the way:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Dress for a run as if it is 10 degrees warmer than it is since you will be moving around and elevating your body heat.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Dress for the “feels like” temperatures since the wind chill and dew point can make it feel colder than it is.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Avoid cotton as a base layer since it absorbs moisture and holds it against your body, making you feel colder. Instead, choose wool or synthetic fibers like Polartec.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Wear layers, including a base layer with a medium-weight or heavy long sleeve or vest over it depending on how cold it is.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">If it is slick outside, use something to<a href="https://shop.therunningworks.ca/sportsafe-running-grips.html"> enhance traction</a> on your shoes.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">If you’re running in snow or wet conditions, Gore-Tex trail shoe options help keep your feed dry and warm..</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">If it is dark, wear something light-emitting or reflective, and a head-lamp.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Use Vaseline and chapstick on exposed skin to prevent chapping.</li></ul> Registration for our next 10-week program: Walking & Running for Women opens on (INSERT DATE).
