M2S has been serving seafarers for more than 50 years in the Port of Montreal and digitally around the world. During the pandemic we became an essential service when seafarers were stuck on board their vessels unable to go ashore. Our two chaplains have dedicated themselves to delivering essential supplies, doing money transfers, transporting seafarers for vaccinations, offering free devotional materials and being present to listen to seafarers who face challenges at sea and at home. 

We're excited to partner with returning and new riders to meet our goal of $20,000 this year! Here's how to get started:

STEP 1

Purchase your ticket(s), one for each rider (adult/youth). Tickets are not eligible for a tax receipt and youth under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

STEP 2

Click the SET UP MY CAMPAIGN button to create your personal fundraising page. Set a target amount to raise. We suggest $1250/rider. This represents the cost of one chaplain serving all the ships in the port for one week including, ship visits, free devotional materials and transportation. 

STEP 3

Personalize your fundraising page. You can set up the page for yourself or a family/team. Share your involvement with M2S and include pictures of any past events or visits you've had to the Seafarers' Centre. We're here to help if you get stuck or need support.

Invite your community to sponsor your ride and ask them to contribute. Be specific in your request!
