Dakeyne Farm - Sunflowers, Bees and Butterflies

Come join us for a full day outside exploring Dakeyne Farm and the pollinators that make it all possible! This camp aimed for kids aged 6-11 will include activities focused on soil health, pollinators, and native plants. We will see lots of butterflies and explore the sunflower maze!&nbsp; Linda Hutchinson completed her MSc in Biology at Acadia University in February 2026, and has been a board member with the BNS since October 2024. She has experience as a camp counsellor and has led multiple BNS kids programs, including guided hikes and workshops. Divinica LeBlanc&nbsp;loves to learn, explore, and dance in community on this beautiful land. She holds degrees in civil engineering, environmental science, and education, and she owns a coaching business which supports neuroqueer professionals to flourish as their authentic selves.&nbsp; In addition to these senior staff members, there will be 2 volunteers helping out with our camp. Everybody over 18 has completed an RCMP Vulnerable Sectors check.
