We are deeply honored to welcome Venerable Thich Minh Tuan, Br. Pháp Tuyển, Br. Pháp Không, Br. Chỉnh Quang, and Sr. Mặc Nghiêm from Blue Cliff Monastery for our Day of Mindfulness. In celebration of this special occasion, we will also commemorate Vesak, the most sacred Buddhist holiday honoring the birth, enlightenment, and passing (Parinirvana) of Gautama Buddha. Inspired by Plum Village Tradition, our Vesak celebration will feature guided sitting and walking meditations, a Dharma talk exploring the Buddha’s teachings, a Bathing the Buddha ceremony symbolizing purification, and a silent vegetarian meal with the Five Contemplations to foster gratitude. Through these practices, including mindful walks and a be-in, we will deepen our connection to mindfulness, compassion, and community, honoring the Buddha’s legacy in a spirit of ecological awareness and unity. ~~~~ Hoà chung không khí đón mừng đại lễ Phật Đản. Chúng con vô cùng hạnh phúc thỉnh được quý thầy quý sư cô từ Tu viện Bích Nham - New  York về Trung Tâm để tổ chức lễ kỷ niệm Vesak, ngày lễ Phật giáo linh thiêng nhất tôn vinh sự ra đời, thành đạo, hoằng pháp và thị tịch của Đức Phật Thích Ca Mâu Ni.        Đây là dịp cho mỗi người con Phật được trở về tiếp xúc với gốc rễ tâm linh và bày tỏ lòng biết ơn tới vị THẦY vĩ đại đã đem ánh sáng của thương yêu, hiểu biết, tha thứ, bao dung soi rọi muôn nơi cho chúng con tỏ lối đi về.       Tiếp nối Truyền thống Làng Mai, lễ kỷ niệm Vesak tổ chức tại Trung Tâm mới sẽ có các buổi thiền ngồi và thiền đi có hướng dẫn, pháp thoại khám phá giáo lý của Đức Phật, một nghi lễ Tắm Bụt tượng trưng cho sự thanh lọc và một bữa ăn chay trong im lặng với năm sự quán chiếu để nuôi dưỡng lòng biết ơn.
