Abhishekagni 2023 Eparchial Bible Convention I will go before you and level the mountains; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron. (Isaiah 45.2) Greetings in the precious name of Jesus. After the challenges and uncertainties of the global COVID-19 pandemic we all are seeking solace, healing, and spiritual rejuvenation and wanting to reach out to Jesus. In response to this collective need, the Eparchy of Mississauga has organized "Abhishekagni 2023” led by Rev. Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil & Team. Over the past 25 years Abhishekagni retreats led by Rev.Fr.Xavier khan Vattayil ,helped millions of people to come closer to Jesus and are   renowned for the in depth teachings of the word of God, healing  and deliverance.  This retreat will embark each one of us on a journey of profound spiritual awakening and will help us prepare for our Eparchial assembly to be held later this year. Abhishekagni retreats conducted before has always had participants experiencing profound shifts in their Spiritual life, increased piety, and a renewed sense of purpose and direction in their lives. Many shared stories of Physical & emotional healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation with themselves and others. I am sure that this retreat will bring great anointing of the Holy spirit to our families and Eparchy of Mississauga on the whole.  This retreat will be held for the entire Eparchy of Mississauga and people traveling from far can book an accommodation at a reduced group cost offered by Residence & Conference center, Oshawa. Children Including JK, SK, Pre teens, Teens & youth will have separate retreat sessions led by Anointing fire Catholic Youth Ministry USA under the leader ship of Ainish Philip, who is the international youth coordinator of AFCM Ministries. The retreat will be conducted on 14th, 15th and 16th of July 2023 at Tribute Arena,99 Athol St. E, Oshawa, ON, L1H 1J8. Once again, I encourage all of you to attend this Eparchial convention and receive the anointing of the holy spirit in our families. Please find few instructions below: ROOMSThe Eparchy has secured accommodation at the RCC Durham college residence ($89.95 + 13% HST per night - Room Only basis for the dates July 14-16). Please remember accommodation is based on first come basis, so please book the rooms as soon as possible to secure your spots. As we receive the rates we will send the update on the matter. PARKING Event parking is offered by the City of Oshawa for a flat rate of $5.00 at Parkade 3 (on Mary Street between King and Bond Streets) and in Lot 16 (on Athol between Celina and Albert Streets). On-street parking is also available and is free on weekends as well as after 6:00pm on weekdays.Parking at the Tribute Communities Centre is reserved for staff only. Unauthorized vehicles that are parked in this lot on event days may be ticketed and towed. RETREAT SESSIONSThere will be separate sessions for JK, SK, Preteens, Teens & Young Adults. If there are any children with specific food  allergies, please communicate with the respective classroom teacher or the event co ordinators of the section when you drop them to their respective sessions. MEALSLunch is included in your registration and is available on all the three days. Dietary accommodations may not be possible due to large number of participants. In case of specific dietary requirements we encourage participants to take care of their own arrangements.    IMPORTANT NOTESPlease remember to bring a Holy Bible, Rosary, Notebook and Pen. Try to be early so that registration is completed and we can participate fully in the retreat. It will start at sharp 10am on the first day.
