DeeDee will give a daytime performance and workshop for youth at Horton High School, and an evening concert for the general public. DeeDee Austin is 19-year-old Indigenous pop powerhouse from Nova Scotia and sister of the Abegweit First Nation on PEI. DeeDee&rsquo;s high energy performances are both contemporary and reflective of her Indigenous influences. She was recently awarded the Golden Buzzer by judges Howie Mandel and Shania Twain at Canada&rsquo;s Got Talent &rsquo;25. Despite her youth, DeeDee has received a combined total of 19 awards and nominations, including a nomination for ECMA 2025 Indigenous Artist of the Year. She has headlined shows across Atlantic Canada and beyond and continues to evolve as one of Canada&rsquo;s most exciting new talents.
