Join the Guelph Seed Library for our first ever Seedy Saturday on March 9th from 10 am to 2 pm in Old Quebec Street Shoppes.We're hosting a seed swap, a sustainable vendor market, a garden supplies swap, and a series of workshops that are free to attend!We look forward to hosting over 30 local vendors and experts that will share their knowledge on topics like compost, beekeeping, and gardening. All workshops and talks are on a first come, first serve basis, and will take place in the Community of Hearts space across from Coco Latte. Our workshop schedule is as follows: 10:15 AM    It Makes A Village - a Short film by Karen Houle11:00 AM    "OTF presentation with Mike Schreiner, with a short discussion on local food security"12:00 PM    Vermicomposting with Amanda Hunter12:30 PM    Time saving garden tips with The City of Guelph1:00 PM       Intro Beekeeping with Mike Barber While the event is free, we are happily accept monetary donations. Donations can be made in any amount, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Guelph Seed Library. The events platform, Zeffy, does not take any fees from us, but provides you with the option of making a small donation to their platform.
