Spring Lake Sunset

Donna Brazelton Over the past ten years I have come to love landscape painting and spend many enjoyable days painting outdoors using acrylics as my medium. &nbsp;Plein Air painting has taught me to observe the constantly changing environment and to capture the clouds, shadows and colour quickly, before it transforms. &nbsp; I often start with a sketch and complete the painting in my studio. &nbsp;Collingwood and the Blue Mountains offer amazing vistas to capture nature at its best and I feel fortunate to live amidst all this beauty.John Brazelton After decades of working on the creative side of the Toronto&rsquo;s vibrant ad agency scene, I retired and moved with my wife to Collingwood in 2013. &nbsp;I love having the free time now to appreciate the natural beauty of the Georgian Bay region and can often be seen painting en plein air. &nbsp;I work mostly in oils.
