Elizabeth House is hosting our first annual Beach Carnival Fundraiser in support of Operations.  Join us for a fun filled afternoon of beach fun with games, raffle draws, beach balls, food, sand castle building, candy, face painting and a few more surprises.  When: Saturday November 25 from 230-5pm Where: The Beach YYC  We have full access to the entire facility and all 5 beach courts. Bring a towel and indoor shoes (sandals or flip flops are easiest for walking in sand)  There are changerooms and showers if needed.  Bring your cash for draws and games.  Join us for a fun filled day at the beach while supporting Operations at Elizabeth House. Your funds go to supporting moms and babies. We want you to know where your funds are going:  Operations is essential for the maintenance of the program, so here are a few numbers: - $1800/month for groceries and all household supplies for all families- $1450/month rent, utilities, wifi and phones- $35/month recreation and celebration opportunities, gifts and supplies per family- $75/month provides at least two on-site, specialized counselling therapy sessions for each woman- $75/month provides bursary funds for education costs, urgent medical fees, childcare placements and other unpredictable expenses for each family A little goes a long way!
