Dear Kanawana Families and Supporters, We have something wonderful in store for you! On August 28, 2021, we will be opening the doors at Kanawana for a day to experience the magic of camp!

This one-day-only event will allow us to gather as a community, and raise money in support of our reopening in 2022! Reserve a space for you and your family today but hurry as places are limited! 

Programming of the day

We are doing the utmost to organize a day worthy of the Kanawana spirit, which will be exclusive to our community!  

What’s in store? 

Boating, swimming, rock wall, arts & crafts, and nature walks … and a traditional Kanawana campfire to finish off the day!

 What’s the schedule? 

On Saturday, August 28 the camp gates will open at 9:00 a.m. and various program areas will remain open throughout the day, until our closing campfire at 7:00 p.m. Programming will end around 8:00 p.m. You are welcome to stay for as much or as little of the day as you can. 

What about COVID safety? 

For everyone that registers for this event, we will send you details one week in advance on the COVID-19 safety measures in place—these will comply with the government guidelines in effect.
