Date: Saturday, August 17th, 2024   Start Time: 06:30 AM - 1:00 PM PDT   Event Highlights: - Early Morning Hike: - ⁠Begin your day at 06:30 AM PDT with an invigorating hike through Saint Mark’s  Summit Hiking Trail surrounded by like-minded champions. Location: Meeting Location will be in front of Cypress Creek Lodge.  Cypress Ski Resort 6000 Cypress Bowl RoadWest Vancouver BC V7N 3N9 Canada We will be hiking Saint Marks Summit  Saint Mark's Summit on AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/british-columbia/saint-marks-summit?sh=9dsflv  - Special Guest: We are honored to host Sean Swarner, a two-time cancer survivor who defied the odds to become the first cancer survivor to summit Mount Everest.  With only one fully functioning lung, Sean has also completed the Explorer’s Grand Slam, which includes conquering the highest peaks on all seven continents and skiing to both the North and South Poles.  His story is one of perseverance, resilience, and unyielding determination. - Lunch Networking With Champions:  After the hike, enjoy a private lunch where you will have the opportunity to network with other trailblazers, innovators, and leaders.  This intimate setting is designed to foster deep connections and inspiring conversations. About Sean Swarner: 1. Cancer Survivor: Diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma at age 13 and Askin's sarcoma at age 16, Sean was given minimal chances of survival but overcame these life-threatening conditions. 2. Mount Everest Conqueror: Sean made history as the first cancer survivor to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 2002. 3. Explorer Grand Slam: Completing this extraordinary challenge, Sean has summited the highest peaks on all seven continents and reached both the North and South Poles. 4. Motivational Speaker & Author: Sean shares his incredible journey, offering inspiration to all who hear his story. 5. Philanthropist: Through the Cancer Climber Association, Sean empowers cancer survivors to believe in themselves and achieve their dreams.
